In celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1 Shawwal 1439 H, the Widyatama University Foundation distributed 750 Eid packages to the community around the Sukapada Village, Widyatama Campus, in the parking lot of Building A, 1st floor, Widyatama University on June 12, 2018.
The Eid packages were handed over directly by the Widyatama Foundation leadership, represented by Foundation Treasurer Djoko Soebagyo Roespinoedji, S.E., Pg.Dip, accompanied by Foundation Secretary Drs. H. Lili Irahali, and several other Foundation leaders. Also present was the Head of Sukapada Village, Maman Rokhman, S.Sos, who symbolically handed over the Eid packages.
The Foundation Secretary, Lili Irahali, said that this was a form of togetherness, concern, and strengthening of ties between Widyatama University and the community around the campus by providing Eid packages in the form of basic necessities that had been prepared. The provision of basic necessities to residents of Sukapada Village has been a regular agenda for Widyatama University for more than 20 years, he added.

The head of Sukapada Village said, “The presence of the Widyatama University campus has had a positive impact, especially in helping to improve the economy of the community living adjacent to the campus, coupled with a CSR program in the form of scholarships for residents of Sukapada Village,” he said.
He hopes that the Eid al-Fitr packages will not be judged by their price and quantity, but rather as a form of sincerity, honesty, and brotherhood between Widyatama University and the community surrounding the campus.
“May these Eid packages be received and utilized to the best of their ability. We kindly request your prayers and support for Widyatama University to always thrive and become an excellent and prestigious institution of higher education on its way to becoming a world-class university,” he said.
