On Tuesday (March 5th), the Widyatama University Career Center, in collaboration with PT. Matahari Dept Store, held a campus recruitment event for supervisor positions in the Seminar Room on the 4th floor of Building A at Widyatama University. A total of 129 people, predominantly 90 universitas Widyatama alumni and alumni from other universities, took part in a series of tests, including psychological tests and interviews. The Campus Recruitment event was attended by the HRD team from PT. Matahari Dept Store Karawaci and the West Java Regional Office.
The Universitas Widyatama Career Center is headed by Pipin Sukandi, S.E., M.M., a lecturer at the Universitas Widyatama Faculty of Business Management. Pipin said, “This event was made possible thanks to the cooperation that has been established since 2014 between the Widyatama University Career Center and PT. Matahari Dept Store Karawaci Headquarters.” Thus, the collaboration is not limited to the MoU but is also implemented through activities such as Campus Recruitment.’
Universitas Widyatama is very concerned about the sustainability of its graduates so that they can be accepted in the business world and industry. This is proven by the seriousness with which alumni are handled after completing their education at Universitas Widyatama. The serious and professional management of the Universitas Widyatama Career Center produces high-quality graduates. This is reflected in the activities carried out by the Career Center, including establishing partnerships with both private and government companies to find out what the business and industrial world (DUDI) currently needs, as well as to assist graduates in finding employment or starting their own businesses.
In addition to organizing campus recruitment activities, the Career Center also holds regular Job Fairs, which are open not only to Universitas Widyatama graduates but also to the general public. At the career development section of the Universitas Widyatama Career Center, all students and alumni can participate in training sessions organized by the Career Center. (Ed)
