The Widyatama Foundation is well aware that this alarming situation has caused various difficulties, particularly in the economic sphere, for the communities surrounding the campus.
Sri Juniati hopes that campus life will soon return to normal as the spread of Covid-19 slows down in various regions. However, she says that the start date for face-to-face lectures at Universitas Widyatama will depend on the situation and conditions as well as the applicable regulations.
“For the time being, we have asked the rectorate, through the Head of the Student Affairs Bureau, to develop a program of activities that will enable students to attend campus more often. This is our effort to revive the campus after it has been empty for so long due to the Covid-19 pandemic,” he said.
The handover of the food packages was also attended by all members of the Widyatama Foundation leadership, the Acting Rector of Widyatama University, the village heads whose residents received assistance, and members of the Cibeunying Kidul and Cibeunying Kaler Police.
