Widyatama University Prepares Off-Campus MBKM Collaboration Program with PKM Activities

SABAKOTA.ID – The Widyatama University Leadership Meeting (Rapim), which is currently still ongoing in Pangandaran, West Java on Tuesday (01/11), discussed a number of ideas as strategies for the university’s development until 2030.

Widyatama University Rector Prof. Dr. Dadang Suganda outlined these strategic steps into eight stages or groups, ranging from academic development programs to programs for improving the quality of human resources, particularly lecturers.

Meanwhile, in implementing the government’s Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program, the rector conveyed the idea of the need to increase the number of MBKM activities carried out outside the campus.

According to him, this aims to integrate MBKM activities outside the campus carried out by Widyatama University with Community Service (PKM) activities that are periodically carried out by lecturers as an implementation of the Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi program.

Another objective of developing MBKM activities outside the campus, according to the rector, is to integrate PKM activities into Integrative PKM and recognize MBKM and PKM activities in relation to the Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi program at Widyatama University.

To support these activities, Prof. Dadang proposed a program in the form of more creative and varied MBKM activities that can be integrated with PKM activities. This certainly requires networking and collaboration between student activities and lecturer activities.

According to the Rector, in the future, both programs carried out by students and lecturers must be able to become more creative and varied MBKM and PKM activities.
