The Film and Television Study Program (FTV) collaborated with the Graphic Design, Multimedia, and Management Study Programs at Widyatama University to successfully hold the closing ceremony for the microlearning video project in collaboration with the Directorate General of the Ministry of Education and Culture on Wednesday, December 6, 2023.
The closing event was also attended by the Rector of Widyatama University, Prof. Dadang Suganda, who expressed his appreciation for the microlearning project.
“It’s amazing to see the achievements of the FTV program, which is not easy,” said Dadang during his speech.

Not only Prof. Dadang, but external parties also collaborated, namely SMKN 5 Bandung, Tk Bougenville, and Sekolah Bintang Waktu, because they were part of a video project that required at least 37 videos.
This microlearning video project with 37 videos was carried out over 6 months in collaboration between students, lecturers, and external parties.
The project activities were explained in detail by Kenmada Widjajanto, S.Sos., M.Ikom. as the Chief Executive and Head of the Film and Television Production Study Program at Widyatama University.
“Today’s project closing is a collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Culture, which requires 304 videos this year for learning through the Merdeka Mengajar platform for school teachers and educators,” he said.
He further explained that these 37 videos consist of three different types.
“This video project consists of three types: presenter and illustration, full animation, and presenter with scenes. In terms of the number of videos produced, type 1 has 16 videos, type 2 has 9 videos, and type 3 has 12 videos.”

Kenmada also explained that the content of the videos was created for early childhood education, high school and junior high school teachers on various topics.
“The content is for early childhood education, high school and junior high school teachers related to many different things, several themes that are part of training for teachers,” he explained.
Finally, with this activity, Kenmada hopes that students in particular will gain knowledge from a different learning process.
“For students, the learning process is not only about producing but also becoming professionals based on a timeline,” he hoped.
As information, the Merdeka Mengajar platform is available for teachers to receive training via digital means, especially to obtain references for the Merdeka curriculum.
