Monday (October 2), Held in the Meeting Room of Graha Building A, 1st Floor, Widyatama University (UTama) once again welcomed 10 Cambodian students from the National Polytechnic Institute of Cambodia (NPIC) and the Industrial Technical Institute of Cambodia (ITI), accompanied by Mr. Ith Vuthy, M.Sc., MA., as Deputy Director for Programs at SEAMEO SEAMOLEC. This group of students is the second cohort of Cambodian students participating in the Double Degree Program in the Computer Science Department at Widyatama University. The first cohort completed their studies at Widyatama University on September 9, 2017.

The agreed Double Degree program takes 3 + 1 (the first 3 years will be carried out at each institution and the final year will be carried out at the Partner Institution). This year, as the inaugural activity of this Double Degree program, both institutions agreed to send 13 students to each institution.
The collaboration between Widyatama University and NPIC and ITI, marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in 2014, launched a student exchange program between Indonesian and Cambodian students. Also present were the Rector of Widyatama University, Dr. H. Islahuzzaman, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA, along with the Vice Rectors, University Secretary, Deans, and the Widyatama University Cooperation Bureau to welcome the group from Cambodia. On the same occasion, the Rector of Widyatama University symbolically presented Widyatama University alma mater jackets to the 10 students from Cambodia.

During the teaching and learning process, the ten students from Cambodia were accompanied by ten students from Widyatama University who were from the Bachelor of Informatics Engineering Study Program and the English Club Student Activity Unit at Widyatama University.
