The Student Senate of the Faculty of Business & Management will once again hold the WIDYATAMA MANAGEMENT EVENT 2008, a debate competition on issues related to national management, with trophies and cash prizes of 5 million, 3 million, 1 million for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, which will be held on March 11-12, 2008, in the Seminar Room on the 4th floor of the Rectorate Building, Widyatama University. This annual event, which is intended for students who are active in universities throughout Indonesia, aims to train students’ speed and skills in problem solving and as risk takers in decision making. Another equally interesting series of activities is a motivational seminar and training session featuring motivational speaker Rudy Lim, founder of Youngs Enterprise – the spirit to success. This seminar, titled How to Make a Breakthrough, will be held on March 15, 2008. Debate participant registration is open from January 20 to March 8, 2008, with a registration fee of 300,000 rupiah per team of 3 people. Meanwhile, those who want to discover their potential, hidden talents, or understand the power of the subconscious mind can register as training & motivation participants with an investment of 50,000 rupiah for students and 70,000 rupiah for the general public.
