Widyatama Hosts the 2013 National Science Olympiad Selection

The Bandung City Education Office held the National Science Olympiad (OSN) selection for high school students at Widyatama University in Bandung on Sunday (March 24). The subjects tested were mathematics, economics, and computer science. Hundreds of students from various high schools in the city of Bandung participated.

The Bandung City Education Office held the National Science Olympiad (OSN) selection for high school students at Widyatama University in Bandung on Sunday (March 24). The subjects tested were Mathematics, Economics, and Computer Science. “Hundreds of students from various high schools in Bandung gathered early in the morning to participate in this event,” said Devy Mawarnie, Head of Marketing at Widyatama University. This is a form of participation by universities in the relevant agencies in an effort to succeed in representing the city of Bandung in provincial and even national science olympiad events, she added. Participants who pass the selection will be included in the OSN, which is planned to be held in Bandung. The National Science Olympiad is a science competition for students who have passed the district and provincial selection rounds. The National Science Olympiad is held annually in different cities. This activity is part of a series of selections to find the best students from all over Indonesia, who will be further guided by their respective competition teams and will participate in international-level Olympiads.
