A total of 600 food packages were distributed as a form of concern and solidarity from the Widyatama Foundation to the surrounding communities of Sukapada and Neglasari on Tuesday (8/9) on the ground floor of Graha Widyatama.
The packages, which contained basic necessities such as rice, cooking oil, and instant noodles, were expected to ease the burden on the community amid rising food prices ahead of the holiday season. The queue was quite orderly, with several Widyatama internal security officers on hand to ensure the smooth distribution of the food packages.
In her speech, the chairperson of the Widyatama Foundation Management Board, Prof. Dr. Hj. Koesbandijah A. Kadir, M.S., Ak., expressed her hope that the community would help maintain Widyatama’s order and cleanliness in order to create a synergistic relationship. In addition, she hoped that the economic conditions of the community around Widyatama would improve with the presence of Widyatama.
