Creative Market
Widyatama University students developed their entrepreneurial spirit at the 2012 Widyatama Creative Market, a series of events celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Widyatama University Foundation. The event, themed “from hobby to money,” was opened by Mr. H. Marcus Kasirin, S.E., M.M. at 9:00 a.m. in front of the students.
He advised, “Students are free to be creative as long as it is positive” in showcasing their entrepreneurial skills.
The opening ceremony was followed by the “Makan Besar Trans 7” (Off Air shooting) program. The event took place every day from December 18-20, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in the front yard of the Widyatama campus, the GSG building, and the class lobby.
On the first day, the event concept with a Sundanese theme was very lively. The enthusiasm of the students was evident from the number of student booths, which totaled 108, and several booths from the general public. These included food stalls, clothing stalls, and student merchandise stalls. The event at the GSG building was also enlivened by art performances and bands from students, such as the Maen Po group, Opay N-Friends band, and Eclipse 21.
