Monday (3/4) Located in the Seminar Room, Building B, 6th Floor, Universitas Widyatama, the UTama Career Center, in collaboration with the Ministry of Research and Technology, Directorate General of Learning and Student Affairs, held a socialization event for the 2017 Career Center and Advanced Career Center Grant Assistance. The Universitas Widyatama Career Center, as the Coordinator of Career Centers in the West Java region, was appointed as the host, having previously received a Career Center grant in July 2015.
The event was opened by the Vice Rector of Universitas Widyatama for Operations, Dr. H. Nuryaman, S.E., M.Si., Ak., C.A. It was also attended by representatives from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Directorate General of Higher Education, represented by the Head of the Sub-Directorate for Work Requirements Alignment, Mrs. Nurlaila. The speaker was the Head of the Widyatama University Career Development Center, Drg. Sandra Fikawati, MPH, who is a member of the Dikti Career Center team. The Head of the Widyatama Career Center, Pipin Sukandi, S.E., M.M., was appointed as the moderator for this event.
This activity was attended by at least 50 universities in West Java. The purpose of this activity was one of the programs of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education regarding grants for career centers and advanced career centers in 2017. This year, the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education has allocated Rp. 4.9 billion for the development of career centers at public and private universities throughout Indonesia. To be eligible for this grant, each university must submit a proposal for the development of a career center or advanced career center (tracer study).
