Wednesday (7/18), after previously receiving a comparative study visit from STIE PGRI Sukabumi, the Widyatama Career Center once again received a comparative study visit from Bale Bandung University (UNIBBA) in the Rectorate Meeting Room, Building A, 2nd floor. At exactly 10:00 a.m., the group was welcomed by the head of the Widyatama Career Center, Pipin Sukandi, S.E., M.M., who is also the coordinator for West Java and Banten for the Career Center and Advanced Career Center Assistance Program from the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education. In addition to the Universitas Widyatama Career Center, they were also welcomed by the Deans, Heads of Study Programs, Bureaus, and Centers of Universitas Widyatama, which was opened by the Secretary of the Widyatama Foundation, Drs. H. Lili Irahali, and the Secretary of the University, Uning Kuraesin, M.Pd.
The UNNIBA delegation, led by Achmad Darmawan (Chairman of the Foundation), was accompanied by Rector Dr. Ir. H. Nasep Rachmat, M.M., M.Sc and his staff, as well as several Career Center staff, to discuss the management of the Career Center at Universitas Widyatama as the coordinator for the West Java and Banten regions.
The discussions and information sharing that UNIBBA explored extensively included IT management, entrepreneurship programs, and how to build good relationships between the Widyatama Career Center and companies and job seekers. After the discussion with the Widyatama Career Center team concluded, Dra. Rinayanti Laila Nurwulan, M.Pd., Chairwoman of the UNIBBA Career Center, expressed her hope that the visit to the Widyatama Career Center would enable UNIBBA to directly implement the insights gained using its existing human resources.
“At least with this, we will design standards for managing the UNIBBA Career Center. This institution was created for the benefit of students, prospective graduates, and alumni. It is hoped that Widyatama can also become a model for the development of other university career centers, including UNIBBA,” said Rinayanti.
