Universitas Widyatama was invited to participate in an Indonesian-Japanese art performance at the Asia-Africa Conference Museum in collaboration with the Umenosato Noh-Mask Museum in Japan and the West Java Provincial Government, which held an Indonesian-Japanese Cultural Collaboration event on June 4-9, 2013. The event was opened by the Director General of Information and Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Abdurrahman M. Fachir.

One of the activities was a Japanese dance performance, which was held on June 9, 2013. The Indonesia-Japan Collaboration Mask Exhibition was inaugurated by the Governor of West Java, Ahmad Heryawan, and attended by the Japanese Ambassador, officials from the West Java Provincial Government and the Bandung City Government, museum directors, foreign cultural centers, cultural observers, students, and various communities in Bandung. The event was held on: Day/date: Tuesday-Sunday, June 4-9, 2013 Time: 5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Location: Asia-Africa Conference Museum – Merdeka Building, Jalan Asia Afrika No. 65, Bandung. The Marketing Office and Japanese Language Program represented Widyatama University as participants in the event.
