Bandung, January 11, 2025 – Universitas Widyatama, in collaboration with FYP Media Jawa Barat, successfully held the Pop-Up Market 2025 event on January 11-12 at Braga Citywalk, Bandung. This event served as an inspiring platform for young generations to showcase their creativity, support local MSMEs, and strengthen community bonds.
The event commenced with the solemn singing of Indonesia Raya and the Universitas Widyatama Hymn, followed by a performance from the university’s Student Choir Unit. The opening speech was delivered by the Head of the Student Affairs and Alumni Bureau, Muchammad Fauzi, S.T., M.Log., CSCA., who encouraged participants and visitors with motivating words.
The bazaar featured various creative products presented by tenants, which were evaluated by professional judges Christian Ivan Halim (CMO of Savenpreneur) and Refaldy Fauzi (Founder of Sneaklin). The best tenant awards were divided into two categories: the early-stage business category, won by Hijab by Deel, and the growing business category, won by Yakitori.
In addition to the bazaar, the event also held an inspiring seminar titled “Entrepreneurship: Know-How the Urgency to Become” with speaker Irvandias Sanjaya, a coach and career consultant. During the seminar, he emphasized the importance of innovation, a growth mindset, and creative solutions to face daily entrepreneurial challenges.
The talk show, part of the event’s series, featured three speakers:
Deni Yudiawan (Business Manager and Partnership Coordinator of Bandung Bergerak),
Reykha Mega Pratiwi (Co-Founder of Diaspora Mengajar), and
Regina Rahmah Dina (National District Manager of FYP Media).
The speakers shared their experiences on innovation, collaboration, and building relationships to create a positive impact on communities.
In his closing statement, Deni Yudiawan highlighted the importance of courage in trying new things and not being afraid to fail. Reykha Mega Pratiwi added that individuals must dare to dream big for a bright future in 2045. Meanwhile, Regina Rahmah Dina stressed the significance of internal and external collaboration to build relationships that support business and community growth.
This event demonstrated a strong synergy between academics, communities, and the business world. Irvandias Sanjaya remarked, “This is an outstanding concept that integrates academics, business, and media communities.”
In the future, similar events are expected to continue encouraging young generations’ creativity and supporting the growth of local MSMEs.
