TJSL AMBULANCE AID ARRIVES AT THE WIDYATAMA FOUNDATION, READY TO SERVE EMERGENCY NEEDS

BANDUNG – October 22, 2025. As a form of concern for the community and a tangible expression of corporate social responsibility, Bank Mandiri handed over an ambulance to the Widyatama Foundation through its Social and Environmental Responsibility Program (TJSL). The handover ceremony took place on the 6th floor of the Seminar Room in Building B and the Main Hall of Universitas Widyatama, Bandung, and was attended by representatives of Bank Mandiri’s management, the leadership of the Widyatama Foundation, and the academic community of Universitas Widyatama.

Bank Mandiri’s TJSL Social and Environmental Responsibility Program is part of the company’s strategy to support sustainable social development and improve community welfare. Through collaboration with educational institutions and social organizations, Bank Mandiri strives to create a tangible and sustainable positive impact on the surrounding environment. The handover of the ambulance at the Universitas Widyatama campus also symbolizes the synergy between the banking and education sectors in promoting social awareness. The ambulance will not only be used for foundation activities, but also as a humanitarian service accessible to the wider community.

As a form of commitment to providing the best service, the Widyatama Foundation continues to strive to improve facilities and supporting infrastructure to support the needs of the academic community and the surrounding community. In an interview, the Chair of the Widyatama Foundation Board stated:

“With the help of this ambulance, we can provide more services for the needs of the academic community and also continue to maintain good relations with the surrounding community, especially the Sukapada sub-district, in case of an emergency. The hope is that this ambulance can transport patients from the campus to the hospital more quickly.”

With the assistance of this ambulance, the Widyatama Foundation can further expand the scope of its social and health services, while strengthening its role as an institution that is caring and responsive to the needs of the community.
