On Saturday (January 27), the leadership of the Al-Aitaam Foundation Management Board, along with lecturers and students from STT Jabar, visited the Widyatama University Foundation to discuss the transfer of management of the Al-Aitaam Foundation to the Widyatama Foundation. The group was welcomed by the leadership of the Foundation and the Widyatama Rectorate.
Following the signing of a Notary Deed of Understanding and obtaining recommendations from Kopertis IV Region West Java and Banten, the management of STT Jabar, previously managed by the Al-Aitaam Foundation, officially transferred to the Widyatama Foundation as of January 27, 2018.
The West Java College of Technology (STT JABAR) is a private college that was established on October 5, 1998, on the initiative of Mr. H. Sali Iskandar, which offers five engineering study programs, including a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering, a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, and a Diploma in Automotive Engineering.
Gradually, STT Jabar students who previously attended classes at the STT Jabar Campus on Jalan Ciganitri will move to the Campus on Jalan Cikutra No. 204 starting in the even semester of the 2017/2018 academic year. Thus, the Widyatama Foundation, which previously oversaw three institutions, namely Widyatama University (UTama), the Institute for Knowledge Development and Application (LPAP), and the Art Therapy Center (ATC), now also manages the West Java College of Technology (STT Jabar).
