A total of 550 families received food packages distributed by the Widyatama Foundation during Ramadan on Monday (August 15) in the basement of Graha Widyatama. The packages were symbolically handed over by the chairperson of the Widyatama Foundation’s management board, Prof. Dr. Hj. Koesbandijah AK., S.E., M.S., Ak., as a form of the Foundation’s social responsibility to the residents around Widyatama University, which is held regularly every year, especially during Ramadan.
“Don’t look at the contents and form of the packages we distribute, but this is a form of gratitude to the mothers and fathers (the surrounding community: Ed.) who have helped Widyatama in creating a conducive educational environment,” said Koesbandijah in a short speech delivered in front of hundreds of people who participated in this food distribution event. She also emphasized that the involvement of the local community in maintaining campus security needs to be continuously enhanced to create a safe and comfortable environment. ***
