Bandung, January 4, 2025 – Widyatama Foundation celebrated its 52nd anniversary with solemnity and togetherness. The commemoration event, held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, took place on the 6th floor of Building B at Widyatama University, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM. The event was attended by leaders of Widyatama Foundation, Widyatama University management, the Academic and Educational Development Institution (LPAP) of Widyatama, and the Widyatama Artherapy Center.
With the theme “Working with Head, Heart, and Hands,” the event began with the recitation of Quranic verses and their interpretation, adding a sacred and grateful atmosphere. This was followed by a speech from the Chairman of the Widyatama Foundation Board, Roeshartono Roespinoedji, who expressed appreciation for all elements that have contributed to the foundation’s long journey. Another speech was delivered by Sri Juniati, the Widyatama Foundation Advisor, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the spirit of innovation and collaboration in advancing education.
The theme “Working with Head, Heart, and Hands” reflects a holistic and meaningful work philosophy. The “Head” symbolizes intelligent, innovative, and well-planned thinking. The “Heart” represents work driven by sincerity, empathy, and care for others. Meanwhile, the “Hands” signify concrete actions and hard work to realize shared visions and missions. By integrating these three elements, Widyatama Foundation underscores the importance of synergy between intellect, emotions, and actions to achieve goals.
The event also featured a sharing session, allowing participants to exchange views on achievements and challenges in advancing the Widyatama Foundation. The highlight of the event was the cutting of the traditional tumpeng, symbolizing gratitude and hope for a brighter future. The celebration concluded with a group photo session and a communal lunch, reflecting the warmth and camaraderie among attendees.
The 52nd anniversary celebration not only served as a moment of reflection on past achievements but also as a momentum to strengthen Widyatama Foundation’s commitment to supporting the advancement of education in Indonesia.
