SEMA FE Holds Internal WAC 2011

As an effort to develop, improve skills and knowledge in accounting science, the student senate of Widyatama University (UTama) will hold the 2011 Widyatama Accounting Competition (WAC) Internal on Saturday (11/26), Wednesday (11/30) and Thursday (12/1).

As an effort to develop, improve skills and knowledge in accounting science, the student senate of Widyatama University (UTama) will hold the 2011 Widyatama Accounting Competition (WAC) Internal on Saturday (26/11), Wednesday (30/11) and Thursday (1/12). Unlike previous WACs, this is the first time that participants are exclusively from within Widyatama University. “Usually, we invite fellow students from outside the campus (Widyatama) to participate in this competition,” said Fajar Ramadhan, Chair of WAC’11. “We want to make WAC’11 a barometer of the accounting skills and knowledge of UTama students as well as an effort to foster a spirit of competition and generosity among the participants,” he added.

Previously, accounting students had achieved success in The 1st Mountfest City, a university-level accounting competition organized by Maranatha Christian University in Bandung, winning first, second, and third place in each category. Another competition they participated in was the Tax Competition at Bina Nusantara University, where they won third and fourth place last October. Unsatisfied with these achievements, UTama students once again participated in a similar competition at the Accounting Ledger on Entertainment, Seminar, and Talent (ALFEST) competition, but had to settle for third place.
