Sacrificing Hobbies

Having just taken on the role of Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Widyatama Foundation, Sri Juniati Roespinoedji (45) is tasked with continuing to raise the reputation of the university formerly known as STIEB (Bandung School of Economics). The granddaughter of the late Koesbandijah Abdoel Kadir, who was none other than the first female professor of accounting in Indonesia, is eager to make Widyatama University even better. Her youthful spirit is expected to bring new color to the institution.

The woman who is fondly known as Mba Nuniek completed her master’s degree at San Fransisco State University with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, a tertiary degree in business management. Her vision of developing education and research can be seen from her career experience as a lecturer in the International Class Program at the Faculty of Economics at Trisakti University, which at that time collaborated with Edith Cowan University, Perth, Australia.

In between her busy schedule as a lecturer at Trisakti University, Nunik also lectured at the Master of Management Program at Widyatama University. With a wealth of experience as an academic, this woman born in Bandung has the opportunity to apply her experience in the world of education by realizing Widyatama University’s vision of becoming a World Class University.

Currently, Nunik spends most of her time at Widyatama University to continue the mission of the previous institution’s leadership. “My hobbies are traveling and handicrafts.
