Rector’s Guidance to Lecturers/Teaching Staff to Maintain the Quality of Education at Widyatama University

Quality is a major concern for the Rector of Widyatama University, Dr. Mame S. Sutoko, Ir., DEA. According to him, in order to produce high-quality graduates, a high-quality “printing machine” is needed. It is a big and difficult responsibility to earn the trust of parents who have entrusted their children to study at Widyatama University.

Recognizing this, the rector directly conducts periodic monitoring and evaluation (monev) of lecturers/teaching staff in order to maintain and improve the quality of education as part of his moral responsibility.

Lecturers/staff at Widyatama University who wish to be appointed as permanent employees of the Widyatama Foundation must be willing to:

1. Complete the Functional Position process within 2 (two) years.

2. Publish at least one scientific paper per academic year in an accredited journal or present it at a national/international seminar.

3. Present at an internal seminar at least once per academic year.

4. Improve their EPT (English Proficiency Test) score to a minimum standard of 525.

5. Participation and contribution in institutional development programs.

6. Advancement to the doctoral degree (S3). In addition, this is one form of monitoring and evaluation conducted directly by the Rector for faculty members/instructors.
