National Debate Competition at Widyatama

A total of 19 teams from 14 universities across Indonesia participated in the National Student Debate Competition on February 22-24, 2010, at the Widyatama University Campus in Bandung, competing for the Widyatama Rotating Cup and a cash prize of Rp. 5 million.

The debate competition, with the theme “Human Resources Management,” was part of the Widyatama Management Expo (WME) held by the Student Senate of the Faculty of Business & Management at Widyatama University in Bandung. According to the Executive Secretary of WME, Endah Purnamasari, the purpose of this event was to improve academic skills and hone the ability to express opinions.

Additionally, it aims to foster collaboration and strengthen bonds among management students nationwide. “We can exchange ideas and engage in academic discussions that will broaden our horizons,” she explained. According to Endah, the theme of this third annual debate competition focuses on human resource management. The competition will select the best speaker and best team, while the judges will come from Widyatama University and other universities.
