The implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program launched by Nadiem Makarim, Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbud Ristek), has been successfully applied at Widyatama University (UTama).
In fact, it can be called the leading campus in implementing the program. UTama has also earned the trust of the Higher Education Service Institution (LLDIKTI) for the West Java & Banten region.
This is because UTama does not only focus on the concept but also on its massive realization and implementation.

Prof. Dadang Suganda, Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs at UTama, explained that the portal provides information on MBKM activities at the university, faculty, and study program levels, as well as for lecturers and students.
“To see how MBKM is implemented at UTama, simply open the UTama MBKM portal,” said Prof. Dadang on the sidelines of the workshop on Filling in MBKM Data.

Therefore, he also expressed his appreciation to the Dean, Head of Department, lecturers, and students of UTama. Especially Rozahi, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, who has created the MBKM UTama portal application.
Prof. Dadang also asked the wider community and internal parties of Widyatama University to give their support.

“The community and internal UTama can provide input, criticism, and suggestions to gradually improve the MBKM portal. This is so that it is more ideal for the implementation of MBKM as targeted by Mr. Nadiem and President Jokowi,” said Prof. Dadang.
“However, academically, I appreciate what my colleagues have done. And I understand the vision of President Jokowi and Mr. Nadiem in the MBKM concept, which aims to create an educational and working culture that is connected to the business and industrial world,” he concluded.
