The Faculty of Economics at Widyatama University (UTama) held a seminar entitled “The Business Potential of Plastic Waste Recycling and Student Entrepreneurship” on Wednesday (27/7) in the Seminar Room on the 4th floor of the Rectorate Building. The seminar chairperson, Henny Utarsih, S.E., M.Si, had the opportunity to open the event, expressing her hope that UTama would become a Green University during her opening speech. The speaker, Mr. Drs. Asep Nuryaman, an entrepreneur who created the Paguyuban Daur Ulang Sampah (PADU) technology, shared his experiences in entrepreneurship, particularly in waste recycling.
The seminar, which was attended by UTama Faculty of Economics officials, lecturers, and students, made a significant contribution to building an entrepreneurial spirit, especially among UTama students. Waste, which is often seen as a problem, can actually bring benefits to the community. Following the seminar, a collaboration was established between the Widyatama Quantum Center Student Activity Unit (UKM) and the Waste Recycling Association to facilitate the entrepreneurial spirit of UTama students.***
