February 27-29, 2024, a delegation from Widyatama University (UTama) went to the Philippines to implement education and research cooperation with De La Salle Lipa (DLSL).
The long-standing cooperation with De La Salle Lipa, Philippines continues to be maintained and on this occasion several cooperation programs were carried out, including: General Lecture which has been held online by Dr. Hero Gunawan, M.Pd for students of Languages and Art Area, DLSL, and Dr. Mary Anne for students of BI Study Program, UTama on February 21 and 23, 2024.
In addition, Visiting Lecturer conducted offline at DLSL by Eriana Kartadjumena, Ph.D in the DLSL Accounting class with the topic Financial Accounting, and Dr. Ervina CM Simatupang, M.Hum who delivered Technology and Language material and Dr. Hendar, M.Pd with the material…. (Ntar see first) in the Languages and Art class.
In addition, the visit was also used to conduct a comparative study of the curriculum by 3 Study Programs, namely Management, Accounting, and English Study Programs.
Not only that, the visit which was warmly welcomed by the foundation and the chancellor of DLSL, (his name forgot please see on the certificate) and his staff discussed joint research between UTama and DLSL. In total, there will be 10 joint research conducted to develop scientific theory and practice in the fields of language, accounting, and management.
This intensified internationalization activity is expected to continue to improve the quality of institutions and graduates, meet IKU VIII, and bring Widyatama to become more global.
