Saturday (August 26) Hundreds of new students from Widyatama University’s Regular Program B participated in the University Introduction Program. The event was held at the Widyatama Auditorium Building (GSG) at 8:00 a.m. Attending the Regular B UIP event were the Vice Rector for Operations, Human Resources and Finance, Dr. H. Nuryaman, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA., and the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Planning and Cooperation, Dr. Dyah Kusumastuti, Ir., M.Sc., along with the Deans of Faculties and Heads of Bureaus at Widyatama University.
The two Vice Rectors presented all programs at Widyatama University, including academic programs, national and international cooperation, the university’s plans for the next 25 years, and technical aspects of the teaching and learning process. On this occasion, Widyatama University launched “UTama Emas,” a long-term plan to become a world-class university by 2038.
Offices within Widyatama University that are involved in the learning process also presented material to new students. Regular B new students not only attend face-to-face lectures, but also participate in the Widyatama Multichannel Learning system, where students can attend lectures without having to be present in class to participate in teaching and learning activities.
After the presentation, new students are directed to the rooms corresponding to their respective faculties to attend lectures by the Dean regarding the programs run by each faculty and study program.
