SABACIREBON – BANDUNG – Maintaining mutual respect among colleagues with different beliefs and backgrounds in the workplace will be a major asset in achieving good, excellent, and sustainable performance. This was conveyed by the Chairman of the Widyatama Foundation, Roeshartono Roespinudji, during the family gathering of the Foundation, which oversees the activities of the Universitas Widyatama higher education institution, in Bandung on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. In front of the Widyatama Foundation family, Roeshartono also invited the entire academic community to uphold the values of togetherness, professionalism, and dedication as the foundation for building a future where Widyatama excels in all fields. We should be grateful that we are not working alone. We have friends, colleagues, a place where we can share and support each other,” said the Chair of the Widyatama Foundation.
Roeshartono, who is also the grandson of the late founder of the Widyatama Foundation and University, Prof. Dr. Hj. Koesbandiyah, inviting the entire foundation family to jointly emulate the values inherited from the founders of the Widyatama Foundation. “They opened themselves up, accepted diversity, and embraced all of us regardless of our backgrounds and beliefs. As an organization that has been around for more than 50 years, these are the values that we must continue to uphold and practice,” said the Chair of the Widyatama Foundation Board of Trustees in front of the guests.
Another speech on the occasion was delivered by the Rector of Universitas Widyatama , Prof. Dr. H. Dadang Suganda, who opened with a series of Sundanese rhymes that drew laughter and applause from the audience, including former UTama Rector Dr. Mame Sutoko. Dadang Suganda took the opportunity to invite the entire academic community and the extended family of the Widyatama Foundation to strengthen cross-unit collaboration in achieving mutual progress.
This Halal Bihalal event is clear evidence of the Widyatama Foundation’s commitment to building a harmonious and productive organizational culture, while also strengthening synergy between units in supporting the foundation’s grand vision for the future.
