Ten students from the Faculty of Visual Communication Design (FDKV) at Widyatama University received MNCTV scholarships, which were symbolically presented at the AnimaFest MNCTV award ceremony on Thursday (21/7) at Cihampelas Walk Bandung. These scholarships were awarded to a number of outstanding students from the Graphic Design and Multimedia study programs who participated in breaking the MURI record for the most animations drawn. Widyatama was one of three campuses selected to receive MNCTV educational scholarships in Bandung.
In addition, FDKV Widyatama University recently hosted the 9th Indonesian Graphic Design Student Workshop (KMDGI) in May 2011. KMDGI is a forum that brings together national visual communication design students to create a conducive environment for creative experimentation and showcase their work in an exhibition. Various works by visual communication design students from across the archipelago were displayed in several booths, ranging from illustrations to 3D animations. This is part of the achievements of the students of the Widyatama University Faculty of Visual Communication Design.***
