Reporting from RADARBANDUNG.id – Empowerment of economically productive groups in Langonsari Village RT 04 RW 03 Pameungpeuk District Bandung Regency was the main target of the implementation of Community Service program, led by Ivan Gumilar Sambas P., S.E., M.M. a practitioner and lecturer from Widyatama University, Bandung.
The program was funded by the Directorate of Research and Community Service, the Directorate General of Research and Development Strengthening, the Ministry of Research Technology and Higher Education in collaboration with Widyatama University, Bandung, by the purpose of empowering an economic independent community, partners in this program were the business units owned by Mr. Uep which brand is Harmonious.
Before this program was implemented, Uep only marketed its products in a conventional method, so that the development of market demand and marketing reach was still low.
“Another thing that underlies the choice of Harmonious as a partner in this program is the expert workforce to make minimal peci (cap) patterns, limited administrative skills, are not capable of calculating production costs of production and do not understand how to prepare financial reports,” said Uep, Tuesday (09/10/2019).
“Now I have several achievements, one of which is the new sewing machine provided by this program as a form of capital assistance from the Directorate General of Research and Development Strengthening grants, the Ministry of Technology and Higher Education Research works to achieve creative management of peci (cap) business,” said Uep.
Uep added, “the skills of the employees increase in the field of marketing. Mitra Harmonis already has Instagram, a Website, a sales account in one marketplace and they don’t have the knowledge of how to manage good relationships with customers, “added Uep.
“Formerly, I did not have financial reports, now employees have been able to make financial reports systematically in accordance with applicable rules, orderly administration and well recorded. In the future, the service team will continue to oversee and assist Harmonists in the production process and support Harmonists in their efforts as providers of peci (cap) making materials,” conveyed Uep.
