The Widyatama University team won first place in the “Widyatama Management Competition” after defeating the Parahyangan University and Maranatha Christian University teams on Friday, November 20, 2008, at the Widyatama University Multipurpose Building in Bandung.
The final round was marked by a significant point difference between each team. The Widyatama team’s courage in betting all of their accumulated points resulted in an absolute victory for the team. Meanwhile, in a separate location, the Taruma Negara University Jakarta team won over Parahyangan University Bandung and Surabaya University in the “Widyatama Accounting Competition”. The two competitions, part of the national-scale “Widyatama Competition Event (WCE ’08)”, competed for the Bandung Mayor’s Cup and a cash prize, organized by the Student Senate of the Faculty of Economics and Business & Management at Widyatama University.
