Two days after winning the Scorpio III Cup, the SMAN 9 Bandung boys’ team completed their achievements in 2009 by winning the UTama Cup VI Basketball Competition. In the final match at the Widyatama University basketball court, they defeated SMAK St. Aloysius Bandung 57-49. Two players dominated this match. Point guard Januar from SMAN 9 deserves praise because, in addition to scoring 18 points, this player with jersey number seven was also able to motivate his teammates to continue playing offensively. His outstanding performance earned him the title of Most Valuable Player (MVP). In the women’s category, SMA Ragunan defeated SMA PSKD Jakarta 74-21. Jacklyn, who scored 31 points in the match, was named MVP of the UTama Cup VI.
