Law No. 20/2003 on National Education System stipulates that quality control and evaluation of education must be carried out continuously for both study programs and educational institutions. Government Regulation No. 19/2005 also stipulates that every educational unit in the formal and non-formal education system is required to ensure the quality of education. In relation to this, Widyatama University sent three representatives, namely Tanti Irawati M, S.E., M.M (Head of the Widyatama Quality Control Center/MonevIn PHKI), Banon Amelda, S.T., M.M (Monev Renbang Staff/MonevIn PHKI) and Neuneung Ratna H,.S.E.,M.M (Head of Quality Control Unit) to attend the Higher Education Quality Assurance System (SPM-PT) and Internal Academic Quality Audit (AMAI) training held on August 2-6, 2010 at the Gajah Mada University campus in Yogyakarta. It is hoped that the outcomes of this activity will enhance personnel capabilities to achieve continuous quality improvement.
