As a tangible manifestation of Widyatama Foundation’s attention and dedication to the quality of lectures, Widyatama Foundation held a Public Lecture (Studium Generale) on Wednesday (5/9) at the Seminar Room on the 4th floor of Graha Widyatama. The keynote speaker for the General Lecture (Studium Generale) was Prof. Dr. Didi Suryadi, M.Ed, who addressed the theme “The Role of Didactic and Pedagogical Situations in Improving the Quality of Lectures.”
In his presentation, Prof. Dr. Didi Suryadi, M.Ed, said that the thinking process carried out by teachers or educators occurs in three phases, namely before, during, and after learning. This situation has the potential to produce innovative didactic designs that can be formulated as a series of steps to produce new didactic designs, namely Didactical Design Research (DDR).
This situation must be anticipated by teachers, especially lecturers who deal directly with students. It is hoped that this Studium Generale can provide refreshment, important information, and improve the quality of lectures, as well as become a forum for discussion and exchange of ideas for teachers/lecturers at Widyatama University. red**
