According to Mr. Juenda, Warehouse Supervisor/Logistics at PT Enseval Putera Megatrading, Bandung Branch, he hopes that this activity will lead to continual improvement in line with what was explained by the speaker. Thus, the warehousing system will be better organized and tidier, especially since warehouses are basic and fundamental, thereby impacting many segments within a company, he explained. Additionally, Mr. Chotam Abtochi, Warehouse Supervisor/Logistics at PT Enseval Putera Megatrading, Bandung Branch, explained that the purpose of participating in this training activity was to improve the warehouse culture system, enhance human resources, and implement the 5S system without neglecting its technical execution. According to him, the knowledge gained from this training will be passed on to his subordinates so that it can be applied in his company.
According to Mr. Setijadi, Head of LOGIC at Widyatama University, this is the third training session held in 2011. Training activities such as this are a regular activity of LOGIC at Widyatama University as a tangible form of the development and application of educational institutions’ knowledge to the industrial world. As for the preparations for organizing such activities, it begins with determining specific topics that are currently faced by the industry. This is followed by developing a curriculum and contacting trainers who are competent, experienced, and experts in the field. With more than 1,500 members who are already registered as partners, LOGIC continues to develop networking for the advancement of higher education and the real sector, he explained. (red)
