Students from the Faculty of Business and Management at Widyatama University have once again achieved excellence. They are Sheini Christy (0209u177), Dinni Sahiraliani (0209u477), and Bonny Suryopratomo (0209u481), who won second place in the Marketing Debate Competition, an annual event held by the Faculty of Economics, Maranatha University, on Tuesday and Wednesday (17-18/4).

Two teams were sent to compete in this event, but perhaps we were the lucky ones this time,” said Sheini. The first and third place winners were teams from the Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), which sent three teams to compete.

The first day was the preliminary round, followed by the semifinals on the second day, where the teams had to give presentations to determine the two best teams. The system used was a knockout system, requiring presentations on a paper and debates using the British system.

The entire academic community congratulates the students of Widyatama University and their mentors on their achievements. Hopefully, this will inspire other students to continue to achieve great things. Vivat Widyatama.
