Students from the Faculty of Economics at Widyatama University (UTama) who are members of the national accounting competition team have qualified for the finals for the second time, where they will face a team from the University of Indonesia in the Binus National Tax Competition. This follows their success in 2011, when they also qualified for the finals against a team from the University of Indonesia.
The University of Indonesia won first and second place, followed by the UTama Accounting national team in third place. The UTama Accounting national team deserves a thumbs up for their extraordinary enthusiasm in participating in various accounting competitions. The entire academic community, especially the supervising lecturers of the Faculty of Economics, as well as the alumni of the accounting national team who were willing to provide their support, enthusiasm, and time from the preparation stage to the final stage.
The emotional attachment of alumni to their alma mater is reflected in their willingness to provide their time and thoughts in between their busy schedules as accounting practitioners. Hopefully, the achievements made today will motivate the entire academic community to improve their achievements in the future.
