Friday (17/1) In commemoration of the 41st anniversary of the Widyatama Foundation and the 12th anniversary of Widyatama University, a public lecture was held for students of the Faculty of Business and Management with the theme “Encouraging Youth Entrepreneurship Towards a Strong and Prosperous Indonesia Based on the Spirit of Mutual Cooperation” with Mr. Hayono Isman as the speaker. The public lecture began at 9:00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time in the seminar room on the 4th floor of the Widyatama University Rectorate Building. It was followed by remarks from the Chair of the Public Lecture Organizing Committee, Mrs. Siti Komariah, S.E., M.M (Chair of the Bachelor of Management Study Program) and the Rector of Widyatama University, Dr. Mame S. Sutoko. Ir., DEA.
This public lecture was also attended by the Head of the Widyatama Foundation Management Board, Mr. T. Ontowiryo, S.E., MBA, and the leadership of the Widyatama Foundation. The event lasted for about two hours and was filled with motivation and insights on becoming an entrepreneur amid fierce competition and the need to seize opportunities. The question and answer session, which was opened by the moderator, Mr. Rian Kurniawan, S.E., M.M (Head of the D3 Management Study Program), was well utilized by the audience. Time flew by quickly and the event had to be closed at 11:30 a.m. Western Indonesian Time, marked by the presentation of souvenirs by the Rector of Widyatama University to Mr. Hayono and ended with a group photo session.
