(Tuesday/21) The Faculty of Business and Management of Widyatama University (UTama) welcomed a visit from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). The delegation arrived at 9:00 a.m. and was welcomed by the Vice Rector of Widyatama University, Prof. Dr. Davidescu Cristiana Victoria Martha, M.A., in the seminar room on the 6th floor of Building B in Cikutra. The purpose of this visit was to reestablish cooperation in the fields of education, research, and student exchange.
UUM is known as a state university that excels in core business and management in Malaysia, founded by Mr. Mahathir Mohammad. UTama also has this excellence, with a student population of more than 3,000 students in the Faculty of Business and Management. It is this similarity that ultimately convinced the two institutions to establish more intensive cooperation in advancing education, research, and exchange of lecturers and students. The UUM delegation was led by the Vice President of UUM. The reception was used as an opportunity for students from both universities to exchange information and experiences.
The Dean of FBM and his staff were also present to welcome the UUM delegation to Widyatama University. The event ended with Prof. Dr. Davidescu presenting souvenirs to the Vice President of UUM and a group photo.
