The university collaborates
On Thursday (06/27/2014), a memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed between Widyatama University and PT.WGS (Walden Global Service). Widyatama University is proud to be the “home base” for the signing of the MOU, with other universities also signing MOUs with PT.WGS. Other universities that participated in the signing of the MOU were: Parahyangan University (UNPAR), STIMIK AMIK, STIMIK Sumedang, TENS Polytechnic, Piksi Ganesha, Jenderal Achmad Yani University (UNJANI), Bale Bandung University, and Maranatha University.
The event was attended by the Rector of Widyatama University, Prof. Dr. Davidescu Cristiana Victoria, and Prof. Jozua Sabandar, M.A., Ph.D., as TLO Coordinator, APTIKOM West Java representative Mrs. Wiwin, and Mr. Ikim, representative of PT.WGS.
“This is an innovation for students and lecturers, because as time goes by, a lecturer’s knowledge of science and technology must be frequently updated. And what is learned at the university is facilitated by PT.WGS,” said Mrs. Wiwin as a representative of APTIKOM West Java. APTIKOM, particularly in West Java, aims to advance the Forum of Program Heads, the Forum of Scientific Journalism, and the Counseling Field of Science.
The collaboration between APTIKOM, PT.WGS, and 10 universities held at Widyatama University will greatly assist private universities in the near future in preparing for AIPT (Institutional Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions).
