WEEK OF LIGHT
The second Al-Qur’an Week of Light held at Widyatama University was an event organized by the Widyatama University Foundation in collaboration with the Abdi Triyasa community. This was the second such event held by Widyatama University. It was attended by Muhammad Nurhadi (Cak Nur), Ustd. Syaeful Karim, Zulkifar La Ntoresano, and MC Abu Marlo.
The event was held from July 13 to 16, 2014. This year, the activities included providing medical treatment to approximately 200 patients from the community surrounding Widyatama University and consultations for parents of children with autism/special needs (ABK) with Dr. Anne Nurfarina. This event was also supported by the Art Therapy Center of Widyatama University. In her presentation, Dr. Anne shared her family’s biography, which inspired her to choose the topic of her PhD study on children with disabilities using the approach of drawing and coloring.
