Universitas Widyatama receives a visit from LPKIA

On Friday (11/12), Universitas Widyatama received a visit from one of the colleges in Bandung, namely the Indonesian-American Computer Education Institute (LPKIA). LPKIA provides higher education in the fields of business computing and information systems. The educational material is based on developments in computer technology and the qualifications required by companies.

Since its inception, LPKIA’s (http://www.lpkia.ac.id/) measure of success has been the number of graduates who find employment. One of the efforts to achieve this is the LPKIA Job Fair (BTK). The purpose and objective of LPKIA’s visit to Universitas Widyatama was to conduct benchmarking in the field of Regular B lectures. In addition, they were interested in one of the electronic learning methods that is inseparable from Regular B student lectures, namely B-Learning (Blended Learning). This is a form of E-Learning with face-to-face lectures.

The success of Universitas Widyatama as an educational institution that runs Regular B lectures has become a reference point for several other educational institutions to implement it. During the meeting, the group led by Drs. Paulus Tanzil as Director of LPKIA explained the “problems” that occurred at LPKIA, especially in the field of online learning. In addition, the discussion continued on the expansion of the existing system in b-learning and the integration of academic administration with the e-learning system itself.

The event, which was held in the meeting room of the rectorate building, was welcomed by the Rector of Universitas Widyatama, Dr. H. Islahuzzaman, S.E., Ak., CA, and his staff, and also attended by the Coordinator and Head of Widyatama E-learning, Rozahi Istambul, S.Komp., M.T., as well as Fitrah Rumaisa, S.T., M.Kom, the Head of the Academic Administration Office at Universitas Widyatama.
