Bandung, The Widyatama Math and Accounting Competition (WIMATION) has reached its 7th edition this year, with the WIMATION trophy always being the prize coveted by the participants. Wimation itself took place on November 16, 17, and 18, 2017, with a series of events including competitions and seminars.
This year’s Wimation event was attended by 11 teams from various regions in West Java. Given the intense competition, the event was organized in the form of various competitions and many stages, from the qualification round to the final. Quoted from the chair of the 7th Wimation
“The highlight of the Wimation event will be on Saturday, November 18, 2017, with a seminar on the topic of Business Opportunities for Accountants in the Millennial Era and the awarding of the winner’s trophy.” said Fiona Martina, chairperson of the 7th Wimation, in an interview during the competition.
The winners of the Wimation competition will receive the following prizes:
1st place: Trophy + Rp. 5,000,000 in cash
2nd place: Trophy + Rp. 3,000,000 in cash
3rd place: Trophy + Rp. 2,000,000 in cash
Best Individual: Trophy + Cash Prize of IDR 300,000
It is hoped that this accounting competition will give rise to young accountants who have competitive advantages and possess the credibility and integrity needed to advance the nation.
