On Tuesday (13/2), the Widyatama University Career Center collaborated with PT. Matahari Dept Store to hold a Campus Recruitment event for the positions of store supervisor, HR & GA supervisor, and visual merchandising supervisor, which was held on the 4th floor of Building A at Universitas Widyatama. A total of 107 people, predominantly alumni of Universitas Widyatama and other universities, will paricipate in a series of tests, including psychological tests and interviews. The Campus Recruitment event was attended by an HR team of approximately 10 people from PT. Matahari Dept Store’s Jakarta headquarters, West Java region, and the city of Bandung. Job placements will be at Matahari Dept Store BIP (Bandung Indah Plaza), IP (Istana Plaza), Festival Citilink, and several branches in West Java.
Currently, the Career Center at Widyatama University is headed by Pipin Sukandi, S.E., M.M., a lecturer at the Faculty of Business Management at Universitas Widyatama. Pipin said, “This event was held thanks to the cooperation that has been established since 2014 between the Career Center at Universitas Widyatama and PT. Matahari Dept Store Headquarters in Karawaci.” Thus, the collaboration is not limited to a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) but is also implemented through activities such as Campus Recruitment.
