Wednesday, July 18, 2018, Widyatama University students Irvnao Ridwansyah Hansen (0116101003), Via Registiany (0116101338), and Adelia Eka Wahyuwardani (0216101404) from the Faculty of Business & Management and the Faculty of Economics once again achieved a proud accomplishment for Widyatama University by winning first place in the 2018 Business Plan Competition held by the Creative Economy Department of PSDKU UNAIR in Banyuwangi.
After competing in the top 5 round, defeating teams from Diponegoro University, Gadjah Mada University, and two teams from Brawijaya University, the Widyatama University team, mentored by D. J. Anderson Butarbutar, S.E., S.Kom., M.M., successfully won the business planning competition.
“The team and Widyatama University succeeded in becoming the first-place winner after competing with 150 teams from universities across Indonesia,” stated D. J. Anderson, their faculty advisor.
Adelia revealed that the Department Room Application is an application that will process data and information provided by users about themselves to determine their interests and abilities and match that information with available job types or careers, which will ultimately help Indonesian students make more informed choices about their majors.
