Universitas Widyatama Welcomes a Visit from Cirebon State High School 1. This visit was eagerly awaited by the school, as the last such event was held in 2009. Held in the Ballroom on the 6th floor of Building B at Universitas idyatama on Saturday (16/2), the arrival of the 12th grade students was welcomed by the Director of Marketing at Universitas Widyatama, Mardi, S.T.

Dra. Herawati, representing SMAN 1 Cirebon, expressed her deepest gratitude for the invitation extended by Universitas Widyatama. “We, as the SMAN 1 Cirebon family, visited Widyatama University to seek detailed and real information about the study programs available on campus, as well as to see firsthand the facilities at Universitas Widyatama,” she said.

Motivational Seminar in Preparation for National Exams and SBMPTN

Approximately 50 students representing the 12th grade, accompanied by 5 teachers, were treated to several “treats,” including a motivational seminar by Pipin Sukandi, S.E., M.M., a lecturer at the Faculty of Business & Management, to boost the students’ confidence in facing the National Exams and SBMPTN.
Additionally, students were provided with information about Universitas Widyatama by the university’s promotion team, represented by Edi Witono.

After receiving the presentation, the students were directed to attend a workshop on how to make short animated films and face sketching techniques from lecturers from the Faculty of Visual Communication Design, namely Drs. Rudy Farid, M.Ds and Drs. Deden Maulana A, M.Ds. The students were also shown the works of FDKV students in the form of short animated films and face sketches.

Next, the group was invited to see the excitement of the Japanese cultural festival that was taking place at the Widyatama University Multipurpose Building, namely the “Widyatama Japan Matsuri” performance. The students were invited to experience the strong atmosphere of Sakura culture on that day. The visit ended with a tour of the facilities at Universitas Widyatama and concluded at the Student Activity Center, where souvenirs were exchanged between the two institutions. (Ed)
