Deden Maulana A., lecturer at the Faculty of Visual Communication Design, Universitas Widyatama, mentioned that there are three favorite study programs consisting of Graphic Design (D4), Multimedia (D3), and Film and Television (D4).
In these three study programs, you will do more practical work in applied laboratories, studios, and real work fields.
Theoretical aspects are provided to complement and enhance knowledge and understanding related to communication skills—both personal and public—as well as the ability to engage in independent or group entrepreneurship.
With a vocational study level that is in line with the government’s program to produce graduates with special skills and the ability to adapt, this study program will realize your dreams of becoming an Associate Expert and Applied/Professional Diploma Bachelor (D3 and D4) equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree, which is only available at the Faculty of Visual Communication Design (FDKV) at Widyatama University (UTAMA) in Bandung.
In the Graphic Design (D4) Study Program, you will master real skills in how to design appropriate and attractive visual communication solutions and be able to apply them to various print or digital media.
There are three areas of activity that always require visual communication solutions, including the business world, the education world, and the entertainment world.
Simply put, as long as people exist and engage in activities, visual communication skills will always be needed. Furthermore, the entertainment industry would be impossible to exist without visual engineering.
In line with the above principle, there is a public need for visual communication solutions. In the Multimedia Study Program (D3), you will acquire the skills to design visual communication solutions and apply them to dynamic or moving, duration-based, and audio-based media.
This includes audio-visual programs, animation, visual engineering in the internet world, and creating visuals related to digital games. Exciting, isn’t it? These are skills that are increasingly sought after in the era of Industry 4.0.
In the Film and Television Study Program to earn a Bachelor of Applied Science (D4) degree, you will be guided step by step in practical work in studios, labs, and fieldwork by lecturers and practitioners according to their expertise.
In the FTV program, you will become experts in scriptwriting, cinematography, production management, and storyboarding. Equally important, you will master visual effects or become a content creation expert.
