“Therefore, hopefully, this activity can support the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (Freedom of Learning-Independent Campus) program and face-to-face activities,” he added.

He also explained that continuous mass vaccination for students, lecturers, and residents could help the government resolve the COVID-19 situation, which is improving day by day.

Pipin added that UTama would continue to conduct mass vaccination on campus.

Salsabila Vania, one of the UTama students who participated in the second dose of vaccination, hopes that after the second dose of Sinovac, there will be no further vaccinations.

When asked if there was any coercion to get vaccinated, according to Vania, even though she was afraid of injections, she took the initiative to get vaccinated herself.

After being vaccinated, she did not experience any significant side effects.

“Vania also really wants in-person classes to resume soon, as she has grown tired of online classes over the past year and a half. Her best hope is that this will help reduce the number of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia,” said Vania.
