The development of the Islamic capital market is currently beginning to attract widespread public attention.
However, there are still difficulties and fears and doubts among the public about investing in this Islamic capital market.
To address this issue, Widyatama University (UTama), through its Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) lecturers coordinated by Neneng Susanti, has carried out a Community Service Program (PkM), providing training to increase knowledge about investing in the Islamic Capital Market.
Neneng Susanti explained that the PkM activity was themed “Tips for Investing in the Indonesian Sharia Capital Market” for members of QASHWA Kota Bandung, which is under the ownership of Hilmi Rahman and Lutfi Khoerunnisa.

“The activity was held via video conference for 90 minutes, using the Zoom Meeting application, on Saturday, December 18, 2021. It was attended by members of QASHWA Bandung City, numbering around 25 people,” said Neneng, Chair of the Activity Implementation Committee.
According to Neneng, the purpose of the training was to provide an understanding of investment products available in the Islamic capital market in Indonesia.
In addition, it provided practical knowledge so that participants would not hesitate to invest in the Islamic capital market in Indonesia.
It also provided information that the IDX has created a program to ensure the fulfillment of Islamic investment aspects for investors, one of which is through certification and direct statements from the MUI’s DSN.

From the information gathered, participants greatly benefited from the training provided by UTama, particularly the FEB PKM Team, for the materials and content presented by Bayu Aji Sumantri, S.M.B., M.COM., during the training session.
Furthermore, Neneng said that this kind of training will continue to be promoted by UTama as a form of campus concern for the community in the context of improving literacy and socializing the development of knowledge.
It is known that this activity used funds from LP2M UTama.
Meanwhile, the PKM team for this activity was chaired by Neneng Susanti, S.MB., M.M.
The members consist of FEB UTama lecturers, namely Ivan Gumilar Sambas Putra, S.E., M.M., M.Ak, Muhammad Bayu Aji Sumantri, S.MB., M.Com., Tanti Irawati Mukhlis, S.E., M.M., and Vincentia Wahyu Widajatun, SE., M.M.
The student members are two individuals: Annisa Luthfia and Alifah Nugitasari.
