Pratama Media News, Bandung City, Sunday (January 29th, 2023) – Programs and activities of the Teaching Campus, Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Academic Year 2023, The Faculty of Visual Communication Design at Widyatama University (FDKV UTama) in collaboration with Lilosketza, Cirebon Regency, will hold a coloring competition for kindergarten (TK)/early childhood education (PAUD) children and elementary school (SD) students in grades 1, 2, and 3.
According to the Dean of FDKV Widyatama University, Deden Maulana A., Drs., M.Ds., the coloring competition with the theme “Burung Berkicau” (Singing Birds) aims to interpret freedom and happiness in realizing creativity for children of that age. Freedom to be creative is manifested in the form of coloring pictures.

“Freedom, among other things, is how children can express their emotions through colors, and colors can reveal a thousand meanings so that we can understand, at least from the aspect of characteristics or tendencies possessed by the children we love,” said Deden to the online media crew of Pratama Media News in Bandung on Saturday (January 28th, 2023).

FDKV UTama and Lilosketza are working together to improve the intelligence of the community, especially at the primary education level. The implementation of this program and activities is also an MBKM activity for FDKV students, which is carried out regularly and continuously.
“Through the Teaching Campus program, students can interact directly in learning activities with children and students,” explained Deden.
Lilosketza is a creativity tutoring center for students at the primary, secondary, and high school levels. Lilosketza is located in Cirebon Regency. This non-formal institution will implement its vision and mission in an effort to participate in educating the nation’s children through creative activities in a gradual and sustainable manner, especially in the city of Cirebon and its surroundings.
The Picture Coloring Competition will be held on February 12, 2023, at Jalan Sunan Gunung Jati No.78, Cirebon Regency. Deden hopes that kindergarten/early childhood education and elementary school students in Cirebon City and its surrounding areas will participate in this competition.
“Additionally, this activity can serve as a gathering for parents to demonstrate unity in their active role in realizing the dreams and future of the children we love and cherish,” concluded Deden. (DM)
