The meeting between the leaders of the two institutions, which was intended for coordination and evaluation, was attended by Yoshiro Nabeshima as CEO of CONVI Co. Ltd, accompanied by his representative in Indonesia, Rizal, and from UTama, the Dean of FIB, Dr. Hendar, accompanied by the Head of the Japanese Language D-3 Study Program, Aan Amalia, and Atri Nadia Astarina from the Cooperation Section of the UTama Rectorate Secretariat.

The Dean of FIB, the Head of the Japanese Language Diploma Program, and the CEO of CONVI Co. Ltd generally assessed that the internship cooperation program has been running well, although there are still some things that need to be improved.
At the event, Yoshiro Nabeshima reiterated his commitment, as agreed upon during a meeting with Widyatama University Rector Prof. Dr. H. Dadang Suganda and his team several months ago, to continue supporting the placement of UTama students in various companies in Japan while also supporting the university’s policy of implementing the Indonesian government’s Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program.
Currently, there are several students, particularly from the Japanese Language Program, who have completed or are still completing internship programs at various companies in Japan for a minimum period of one year.
This internship program is mandatory for Widyatama students, so that the grades obtained during the internship will be converted into final semester grades.
The Rector of Widyatama University, Prof. Dr. Dadang Suganda, has even formed a special unit to further improve the implementation of the MBKM program for all students in various faculties and study programs at this excellent university.
